Terms of use
Last updated September 30, 2026
These terms cover Sphera Credit Data at data.spheracredit.com: the connector for AI assistants and the JSON and CSV files. It is run by 17581602 CANADA INC., carrying on business as Sphera Credit. The Sphera Credit Terms of Service also apply, including their sections on warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law. If the two conflict, these terms govern Sphera Credit Data.
The data
- Values come from the Bank of Canada. We republish them as the Bank publishes them, and the Bank can revise them.
- Series marked as Sphera estimates are calculated by Sphera Credit from Bank of Canada data. They are not observed market rates. The methodology of each series explains how it is calculated.
- We provide the data and the service as is. Values can be late, incomplete or wrong, and we do not promise that the service is available at any given time.
Not advice
- The data is information only. It is not financial, investment, lending or legal advice, and it is not a quote or an offer of credit.
- Check a value against its source before you rely on it in a transaction or an agreement.
Using the values
- You can use the values in your own analyses, models, reports and publications.
- When you publish values, cite the source line that comes with each series, such as "Source: Bank of Canada", and label Sphera estimates as estimates.
- Do not suggest that the Bank of Canada or Sphera Credit endorses your work.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Rate histories require an account. Sign up with your own email address and keep your sign-in to yourself.
- Do not try to get around sign-in or rate limits, overload or disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
- We can add, change or remove series, tools and features, or stop the service.
- We can change these terms. We post the new version here and change the date at the top. Using the service after that means you accept the change.
